PPOU terus MARA!!!

Sudah lama juga kiranya saya tak meng'update' blog ini disebabkan banyak perkara yang membataskan diri. Perkara paling besar yang sedang diusahakan ialah projek komuniti yang bakal diadakan di sebuah perkampungan orang asli di Kuala Lipis, Pahang.
'PPOU terus MARA' dipilih kerana saya ingin mempamerkan kesungguhan, kegigihan, komitmen dan dedikasi yang dipotretkan oleh semua ahli PPOU.
Disebabkan dana yang begitu besar (mencecah hampir RM20,000), pelbagai aktiviti dan jualan diadakan sepanjang minggu sebagai salah satu cara untuk mencapai target budget.
So, bila ada event macam 'bazaar upten' kami pun mengambil kesempatan untuk menempah satu booth supaya agenda kami dapat dijalankan dengan jayanya. Mula2 tu bila kak Zawani (timbalan pengarah kita) berhubung dengan pihak HEP, HEP kata booth dah penuh. Tapi disebabkan kak Zawani ni memang jenis x berputus asa, dia cuba dan cuba dan cuba sehingga orang tu pun dah bosan so dia bagi la satu booth kat kita. Alhamdulillah...


Bila dah dapat booth tu, kami pun cam brAinstorm la menu apa yang nak dijual kat bazaar upten nanti.











Antaranya :



Kek batik



Trifle




Dadih




Float


Minuman bikarbonat

Aiskrim roti



Tapi, menu2 yang sedia ada ini alhamdulillah boleh tahan gak lakunya especially pada hari pertama tu, so yang lelaki plak tiba2 je came out with ideas nk jual hotdog yang sedap giler dilengkapi dengan sos pedas dan lada hitam (sapenya idea ntah ni?..bernas tol). Malam kedua cam lagi laku la sebab ada hotdog tu.



Semua orang cam bekerja dengan amat kuat terutama yang bagi flyers 'Program Curahan Kasih Intaian Sayang' (direka dengan amat kreatif sekali oleh room mate ku Sarah dan AJK tajaan dan promosi lain), yang sibuk duk masak2 sampai kul 1-2 pagi, yang tolong beli barang (student lelaki la especially), dan tak lupa juga yang terlibat dalam jualan sama ada secara langsung atau tidak.



Take note gak, sempat saya terpandang rakan2 saya yang me'replace' subjek2 mereka..even diorang busy giler dengan study but still kerja tetap kerja dan homework serta tutorial tetap berjalan seperti biasa..caya lah korang!!! Ganbatte ne,





Ni ada resepi kek batik yang sempat saya minta dari Kak ALIA Kamalia ;



Bahan-bahan

1. 1 packet biskut Marie

2. 250g butter

3. 7 - 8 biji telur

4. 1 cawan gula

5. 1 cawan serbuk koko

6. 1/2 tin susu pekat

7. 1 sudu teh esen vanila


Cara-cara nak membuatnya

Campurkan butter dengan gula. Pukul sampai kembang.

Masukkan telur sebiji sebiji dan satu sudu teh esen vanila.

Kacau semuanya sampai sebati.

Tambahkan 1 cawan serbuk koko sedikit sedikit.

Pukul sampai gula larut.

Masukkan adunan dalam periuk sederhana panas.

Serta, satu per dua tin susu pekat.

Gaul sampai pekat dan likat bersama biskut Marie yang dipatahkan dua.

Tutup api.

Mampatkan adunan yang telah siap dimasak ke dalam bekas yang sesuai setelah sejuk.

Selamat mencuba la pada sape2 yang berminat. Sori takde gambar kek batik yang scrumptious giler tu. Kepada sape2 yang malas nk ke dapur untuk try resepi ni tapi still cam terasa nk makan kek batik, bleh la tempah kat kak Alia sendiri ye.

Last but not least, minta maaf sangat bagi sape2 yang tunggu next post dari saya terutama kepada happypooh yang sentiasa bertanya bilakah saya akan meng'update' blog. Minta maaf lagi sebab tak tulis post kali ini dalam bahasa Inggeris (idea nk bina struktur ayat cam kelam kabut even BM ni pun cam apa ntah..hurm..soriiiiii). Dan juga maaf buat kali terakhir sebab xde isi sangat untuk post kali ni..serius kepala saya pun dah pening, badan pun dah letih sangat2..sume benda jadi hectic.

“Sweet 20++ MEK TI” , the cake sounds like. It was Siti’s twentieth birthday on the last 12th July 2008. There were seven young charming guys and seven pretty wonderful girls having a birthday party to celebrate SITI!

The venue : Pizza Hut, The Mines Shopping Centre

Time : 9 pm, 11th of July 2008

It’s a simple birthday party actually. I don’t know how to describe much. We were having fun together.

To Siti,
If you read this, I would like to wish you a very happy birthday to you. May Allah bless you in any way that you wish for. I totally believe we can still be friends forever even we might be separated when we go overseas. You are such a nice young (20 tu kira muda ke? Haha) lady, very sweet, childish a little bit (byk sebenarnya..hehe), happy-go-lucky, caring, loving, sempoiii…and many more. Love you Siti Nor Fatimah, may our friendship will last forever.

It's been a while since I last updated my blog, this new layout made by my ppou beshties who is Azizul. It is not purple at the first place but its okay as long as it is simple and not so crowded.

This new post are specially dedicated to PPOU batch 07/08 under Ministry Of Education(MOE) and FELDA. The new sem has started with fifteen to eighteen credits per hour and the subjects are as listed below :


Introduction to development psychology

Pendidikan Bimbingan dan Kaunseling

Pengenalan Kerja Sosial

Kokurikulum - kayak

Peradaban dan Integriti

Ielts

Replacement subjects (calculus and physic) - for those who are required to take

The first week of the new semester was not ready for any lesson so, the dean who is incharge in our community service projects...urged us to choose the leader and the members of community service programme for this year, make our first draft of plan about the projects, and pass up the proposal by end of the week.

The first meeting was about deciding who can be responsible to be the members of the house of PPOU. The team has made their choices and this is the result :

  • Pengarah : Hamdi bin Adam

  • Timbalan Pengarah I : Mohd Sahrul bin Hatta (FELDA)

  • Timbalan Pengarah II : Zawani binti Din (MOE)

  • Bendahari : Nur Diyana binti Abd Halim

  • Setiausaha I : Noorul Husna binti Suep

  • Setiausaha II : Siti Noor Izwani binti Bahaudin
  • Exco kebajikan dan keselamatan : Mohd Rainney bin Ngdiran & Shafiqah Arifah binti Aadnan

  • Exco pengangkutan dan logistik : Mohd Fazhil bin Ali & Hazimah binti Ashamuddin

  • Exco perhubungan awam dan protokol : Mohd Rais bin Jalal & Nurfarahin binti Baharul'ulum
  • Exco tugas2 khas : Mohd Syafiq Izham & Nurshafikah bt Amiruddin

  • Exco makanan : Uzair

  • Exco promosi dan tajaan : Joseph Lau & Fatin Aqilah binti Mohd Fazhil

The second meeting is to make the first draft about our big project. This project is mainly about community service and members of the house have decided to go the village of the Asli people. As I am incharged to the exco of public relation so I have to deal with Jabatan Hal Ehwal Orang Asli for the best place to go and seek for their personal advices. After we discussed with two officers in the department, we can conclude that :

the best place to go : Kampung Pantos, Kuala Lipis, Pahang

the date : 10 - 13th October 2o008

The dean asked us to pass up the proposal on Firday morning, so the high council of the house need to stay back for the preparation for the next meeting which was held on 10th July 2008 at 4.00pm, level 6, IKAL. The meeting was done successfully but the problem is we have to brainstorm the activities and tentative of the programme as the dean commented the arrangement was so typical programme. He wants some new-fresh-creative ideas..

Then, the project manager asked us to stay untill the new proposal and budget plan are ready to release. Here are some of the faces I captured last Thursday night, everybody seems exhausted :











Finally, the proposal plan was finished at 12.15 am (Can you imagine how long we have stayed in Ikal?).

The next day, while the dean was reading and approving the proposal, the others were discussing the next steps to make sure we can reach our budget ( because it was such a big money to make : nearly RM20,000-rough draft ).

Here comes the next action, many plans were listed to make the dream comes true. But the first move is to be an entrepreneur. The same day, Kak Zawani, Kak Izwani, tiArA, ajim, and Ila went to buy the things needed for the business that we are going to make especialy for the upcoming event: bazaaar upten!

strangely enough,

my life has completely ran full circle in exactly one year ++, around three semester and this coming monday..new sem will start.

things are back to the way they were when i first got here. the inseparables are sort of back =)
n well, the rest of them too, are back to how they were in the beginning.

not surprisingly, each sem seems bring us so many rumours and a lot of assumptions have been made and i'm afraid what will I face in the future undertaking = (

and of course, result for the last sem and IELTS also will come out and I am sooo freak out~
