Dear my faithful readers,

I'm sorry for not updating anything since the first week I reached New Zealand.

There were so much I want to share but I ended up by dissapointing you guys...

I'm totally sorry~

A very hectic month, I can conclude.

and a very hard weeks I've been through

I felt so horrible

I'm afraid

I'm totally freak out

I'm just nothing~

Its all about the big test that I've performed.

and I worked very hard for it

but the result was just so-so

I can almost see it

That dream I'm dreaming but

There's a voice inside my head sayin,

You'll never reach it,

I need my mom

and Rafidah

I missed ,my family, hogryslywarts

and almost everyone~

But. No one respond

to my calls.

Every step I'm taking,

Every move I make feels

Lost with no direction

My faith is shaking but

IGot to keep trying

Got to keep my head held high

Now I realized that I'm far from home

I'm big girl

and I woke up become someone who can handle things right

WIthout ANYONE helps.

I make up my mind: I NEED to stand with my own feet~

There's always going to be another mountain

I'm always going to want to make it move

Always going to be an uphill battle,

Sometimes I'm gonna to have to lose,

I made my mistakes

and I wont ever repeat the mistakes again!

Ain't about how fast I get there,

Ain't about what's waiting on the other side

It's the climb

The struggles I'm facing,

The chances I'm taking

Sometimes might knock me down but

No I'm not breaking

I may not know it

But these are the moments that

I'm going to remember most

Just got to keep going

And I, I got to be strong

Just keep pushing on, cause

There's always going to be another mountain

I'm always going to want to make it move

Always going to be an uphill battle,

Sometimes I'm gonna to have to lose,

Ain't about how fast I get there,

Ain't about what's waiting on the other side

It's the climb

Keep on moving

Keep climbing

Keep the faith

It's all about

It's all about

The climb

Keep the faith

Keep your faith!

P/s:thanx to Fadhilah for reminding me this special song: The climb by Miley. Even we dun even talk. You made me feel much much better~
I miss u~~~~and Raf, Syaz, Atiqah, Hidayah muahhxxx

Assalamualaikum wbt,

Photo1 : homestead lane which is our flat lane
The next we did was university of canterbury tour. We've never been to the university before so instead of lay low in our homely bed we decided to travel through the university. That time, our seniors were working therefore we're like lost somehow inside the university and practically went home after we sorted out the mess we've made. haha

Here is the University of Canterbury!!!! : Photo2
In the evening, kak ayu (our third-year senior) kindly invited us to go to BOTANIC GARDEN!!!
The sun was freaking hot and you would easily get sun burnt if you're not wearing anything to protect your skin. Yet, the temperature is practically freezing and that's why you are seeing my friends and I wearing sweater and all. I'm getting used to this. Burning up one minute, teeth chattering the next; it's kind of interesting..yada yada~
Some interesting facts about Botanic Garden :
The Christchurch Botanic Gardens inspires and educates visitors by showcasing flora and fauna of New Zealand and other parts of the world.

Founded in 1863 with the planting of an English Oak tree, the Gardens now features one of the finest collections of exotic and native plants found in New Zealand.

Towering majestic trees - many over 120 years old - dominate the Gardens, forming a striking backdrop to the extensive themed plant collections and sweeping lawns.

A loop of the gently-flowing Avon River, criss-crossed by bridges, encloses a large part of the Gardens while the adjacent 164 hectare Hagley Park enhances its natural splendour.

The Gardens is an oasis in the city of Christchurch - 21 hectares of beautiful horticultural displays, several conservatories, memorials, garden art and walking tracks.

The Gardens are open every day of the year and admission is free!

ATTENTION : This post MUST BE read from bottom to top due to author carelessness.
To be continue...
Photo12: in front of the famous Christchurch cathedral square.

Photo 10:with seniors in front of a lake

Photo9 : the city

Photo8 : the chinese lantern festival
Luckily, the city got an eventful day for us as the chinese lantern festival were held. The decorations was superb but I'm very sorry that I cant post lots of pictures here. Maybe next time.

Photo7 : vodafone
Done with the bank account. We've brought to the vodafone to buy a prepay phone card and my number is +6402102520305. If you are from Malaysia, you can text me that cost only RM0.20.
Next, we went to Riccarton Mall and lots of places to complete all the housewares. This time the seniors are being extra helpful to buy the perfect thing with the perfect price.
Thanks to them( kak ayu, kak dyla, kak wan, abg irwan, abg ainan, abg fifi and all)!!!

Photo6: ride the metrobus
On the 14th of february, the seniors brought us to the ANZ bank to open our student account where the scholarship money will be sent into, settled the travellers cheque, applied for credit card and IRD number(for decreasing the tax if we want to work).

Photo5 : my room :)

Photo4 : the dining room

Photo3 : the kitchen
By the way, the flat got 6 rooms, fully furnished and luckily all my housemates are my friends from UNiten taking the same course.

Photo2: taken from the fire exit door from our flat.
Then, after everything solved.
We hurried to check in and managed to catch the plane on time. I sit next to a kiwi named Lane who is 18 years old and like to hunt a wild deer. He has a very beautiful blue eyes and very friendly. He taught me some Maori words and how to pronounce it correctly.
I sit next to the window so I can tell how tidy, organize, and beautiful Christchurch is.
After boarding about 1 hour, we arrived Christchurch Airport and be picked up by the seniors.
They are super duper nice, helped us with the accommodation procedures, carried the heavy luggages to our top floor flat, and prepared the dinner for the house warming welcoming party that night.

I love to mention that they cooked us chicken paprik and omelette..served with rice. So malaysian.

photo1 : in the bus
After we arrive Auckland, we went straight away to the check in luggage for domestic departures but unfortunately, we have some ticket problem as MOE only gave us a printed paper giving details about the flight ticket.
Luckily, there were 4-5 kindful seniors from Auckland showed us the place to pray first and the right way to go to the domestic airport where it takes 10-15 minutes from the international airport by bus.
Accompanied with all the heavy luggages, the helpful seniors escorted us with a very ponderous progress. As we arrived at the domestic airport, we have the same problem for the ticket and we have to wait about one and a half hours for everything to be cleared up. The seniors brought us some sandwiches and mineral water that made me to be grateful enough of their presence.

Its been so long I left tiArA's life. So, I decided to make a short post yet meaningful.

Last 12th February 2009, I went to a foreign land which some sort of isolated island called New Zealand. Its Canterbury, Christchurch to be precise!

The picts showed lots of my family were there supporting me to fly high~

However, there is NO stupid face of me crying like a one litre of tears. To SPC's friend and Ila, I am very very sorry sebab x dpt nk say a proper goodbye and peluk cium korang or at least bergambar dengan korang. Sorry sangat2!!!

It's the first time I fly with aeroplane(MAS airlines) and surprisingly, I have a very bad memory while flying. Haha

I did not eat anything before I depart so its kind of my stomach was not functioning well and the plane was like flying ups and downs because the weather was super bad(have to tighten the seat belt and all). Unfortunately, I have to use the sick bag because of the airsick :(

And I cant eat the bbq chicken which was suppose to be my dinner on that plane.

Diyana gave me an airsick medicine. I fell asleep. And only woke up about 4 hours before arrive Auckland(transit to domestic plane: Air NZ)

Ate some nasi lemak.

And here I am..in Auckland!!!

While in Auckland, I had different stories.
I'll update later in Part II.

Nota kaki:

  • REALITI sentiasa mengalahkan ILLUSi.
  • Syariatullah vs Sunnatullah
  • Syariatik vs Saintifik

  • Social Management. hati2 girl and boy relationship!
  • Knowledge Management.jangan selalu ponteng kelas even xde org nk pantau pergerakan kte.lecturer usually international so mereka akan faham kondisi kita then jgn takut2 jmpe lecturer.banyak alat bantu belajar yg canggih2 akan menyebabkan kita malas, bertangguh dan buat study last minute oleh itu anda kena sentiasa beringat.
  • Experience Management. melancong sebagai salah satu aktiviti yg agak wajib juga selaen dari belajar. plus, working experience.pengalaman tengok snow dengan perasaan jakun first time.
  • Financial Management.rancang keperluan dan kehendak. nanti buat dua akaun, satu akaun utk scholarship masuk dan satu akaun lagi untuk simpanan.
  • Personal Health.check gigi and wat scalling siap2 kat msia cuz kat NZ sangatla mahalnye.check mata and buat spec siap2 sebab kat sana pon mahal. adapt ngn unpredictable weather kat sna.jogging utk kurus! jaga mental health dgn kurangkan stress.

Being a MUSLIM in a Foreign Land:

  • amalkan dan fahami surah al-kahfi.
  • motivasikan diri untuk datang ke kelas.
  • jaga sensitiviti pergaulan
  • kena sentiasa bersiap sedia esp bila berhadapan cabaran makanan halal, ibadah, dan belajar etc.
  • mesti ada prinsip dan jati diri
  • kena tunjukkan diri terbuka (esp. kepada org yg bukan ISLAM)
  • integriti: cakap serupa bikin.
  • punctuality masa important
  • everything has its price and consequences~

Fiqh Musafir:

  • jauhi dosa kerana dosa mendatangkan kemurkaan Allah SWT
  • jgn pandang remeh tentang 'benda'2 kecil
  • hati2 ttg dosa terhadap ibu bapa!

Apabila bertemu dengan perpisahan,

jangan ucapkan selamat tinggal,

tapi ucapkan semoga berjumpa lagi,

Jika bukan di sini,

di syurga nanti. InsyaALLAH~

harap perkongsian ini mendatangkan manfaat kepada semua.
